Brazos/Co-Serv’s application for permission to install overhead high voltage transmission lines (HVTLs) down the center of Main Street or Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco is reaching mission critical. The first step in the decision-making process — the hearing before two administrative law judges at the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) — will start on July 27, 2015. The BTL Intervenors, City of Frisco, and Chamber of Commerce have submitted substantial evidence in support of burying the lines and the City’s specific proposal to minimize the financial and other impacts of the installation of the HVTLs.
